Adam Farley graduated from the University of Kansas in 2006. He is a 2002 graduate of Oak Park High School. He was a member and soloist of the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps in 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2005. Adam is thrilled to come back to his alma mater as Assistant Director of Bands. His duties also include co-teaching 7th and 8th grade band at Antioch Middle School and 6th and 7th grade band at New Mark Middle School. Adam is also the Music Appreciation teacher at Oak Park High School.

Josh Williams is the Associate Director of Bands at Oak Park. His duties include assisting with the marching band and directing the concert band. In addition to his duties at Oak Park, Mr. Williams is also the Director of Bands at Antioch Middle School. Mr. Williams began his teaching career in the North Kansas City School District in the Fall of 2006 where he was the assistant at Winnetonka High School, Northgate Middle School, and Maple Park Middle School.
Mr. Williams is a member of Missouri Music Educators Association, Music Educators National Conference, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. He remains an active trombonist performing with the Kansas City Wind Symphony, which made its Carnegie Hall debut in April of 2008.
Mr. Williams received his Bachelor of Music Education from Central Missouri State University (now UCM) in 2006, and was a 2002 graduate of Marshfield High School. His wife, Ashley, is the Assistant Band Director at North Kansas City High School and teaches elementary music at Winnwood. They have a son, Brennan, who was born in 2009.

Brandon McCoy is a Kansas City native, and a graduate of Oak Park High School, class of 2002. After playing in the marching band for four years, Brandon followed his dream of touring and spent most of 2002 and 2003 on the road with his band. He has been working as the percussion instructor for the Oak Park Marching Northmen since 2006. Brandon is a full time musician, touring, teaching, and writing with various band and singers across the country.
Brandon’s wife, Amanda, is a graduate of Oak Park, class of 2000. She works with adolescents in the substance abuse field.

Teresa Farley has been involved with the Oak Park Band program since 1995; seven of those years as a band parent and 6 years as a volunteer with the marching band. She is thrilled to be back after a year’s absence. Mrs. Farley is a financial consultant for Farrell Growth Group in Liberty. In her spare time, she plays flute in the Northwinds Symphonic Band and the North Star Community Band and has played woodwinds in the Gladstone Theatre in the Park pit band for 19 years. More recently, she has been the pit conductor for five Theatre in the Park productions and two at North Kansas City High School. Mrs. Farley also serves on the Gladstone Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.
Mrs. Farley and her husband reside in Gladstone. They are very proud that their two children, Alie and Adam (Mr. Farley!), are both music educators. Their daughter is working on her master’s degree as a graduate assistant at the University of Louisville and Adam is the Director of Bands at Oak Park High School!!!

Stacey Stowers is a welcome addition to the OPHS Band Staff this year. She serves as the Color Guard Sponsor for the Marching Northmen as well as the Winter Guard sponsor. She is a Northland graduate (Park Hill '91) who lettered in Color Guard during high school. She has both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Spanish and is ABD in Linguistics. This 2007-2008 school year is her first year at Oak Park. She teaches various levels of Spanish including the dual college credit courses in Spanish. She previously taught in the Platte County School District as well as having taught as an adjunct instructor for the University of Kansas, the University of Colorado and Johnson County Community College. When asked if she would like to sponsor the Color Guard, she happily agreed and is enjoying getting to participate in marching band activities again.
