A huge THANK YOU to all who helped with the carwash this past Saturday! We had a lot of fun, washed a lot of cars, got wet and helped the BPA! Several families and students were there all day and have the sunburns to prove it! Upcoming events to mark on your calendars:
• July 26-30 Drumline camp at OPHS 4-9 PM. They will have a dinner break from 7:00-7:30. All students need to enter the band room from the ART hallway, not the choir hallway.
• July 27 and July 29 Winds and Brass rehearsal at OPHS 12-4 PM in the band room. All students need to enter from the ART hallway, not the choir hallway.
• August 2-6 Marching Band Camp (Full band and Guard) at OPHS 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
o All students need to help re-stock the drink cabinets. Freshmen and Sophomores: 1 Case of bottled water. Juniors: 1 case of pop. Seniors: 1 case of Gatorade. All products must be Pepsi products, including water.
• August 2 BPA Meet and Greet starting at 7:30 AM on the west side of the school.
• August 5 BPA Swim party and Picnic at Old Pike Country Club immediately after camp is over. $5.00 per family (payable when you get there) and please bring a dessert. We will need a headcount so we can get enough food for everyone. We will take care of this during camp.
• August 9-11 Marching Band Camp (Full band and Guard) at Happy Rock Park 4-9 PM
• August 11 Ice Cream Social 7:00 PM at Happy Rock Park
• August 3 and 4 Back to school registration 1-8 PM. This is the time to get your marching band uniforms and formal wear. The BPA will have a table set up in the hallway to give you more information about BPA and the upcoming school year.
o RETURNING BAND MEMBERS: Please check your uniforms NOW to be sure they fit and are in good repair. If not, please bring them to registration with you and we will help you out.
• August 19 First BPA meeting of the 2010-2011 school year! 7:00 PM in the OPHS band room.
If you have signed up to work at registration, we will be contacting you about a schedule. If you haven’t signed up and would like to help out during registration, please let us know. We can always use more hands at registration!

State Music Festival Tonight! |

tonight (Friday, April 9) for
State Music Festival
Students need to be at OP dressed and ready at 6:30pm
We will bus over and bus back to OP.
Performance: 9:05pm!
Sight-reading to follow in a closed room (no audience allowed)
If you wish to take your child home from Park Hill we will need a note.
